Donate Equipment or Services
Contact us if you would like to make a tax-deductible in-kind donation. Build Inclusion would like to thank all of our sponsors and supporters who have made it possible for us to deliver our programs. Especially in our disability education program, AIM!, our learning tools and manipulative curricula elements take a beating at the hands of elementary schoolchildren!

Volunteer Your Time
Volunteers are the heartbeat of Build Inclusion. Our organization was formed by parents who have children with disabilities. Those passionate individuals were joined by like-minded community members and others who saw the needs in our community and the opportunities for persons with disabilities. We gave our sweat, time and love to our mission before Build Inclusion even existed. We did it because it’s not right to marginalize a percentage of our population. We continue to do it because we see the impact our efforts make. And we love our philanthropic work with Build Inclusion because we are changing our culture for the better.

Request IEP Support
Build Inclusion endeavors to match families of students with disabilities with IEP advocates based on their individual needs. We will do our best to find a qualified advocate for you to speak with or to accompany you to your IEP meeting. Donations to Build Inclusion are accepted as a form of payment and scholarships are also available.

Register for VAP
The program will be delivered from the HDI campus at 1531 Bull Lea Road in Lexington, Kentucky. The 36-40 hour training takes place over a 12-14 week period (excluding holidays). The first VAP for the state of Kentucky will begin in September 2016 and will meet on Saturdays 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. The class is limited to 35 participants. Childcare is not provided. The course fee of $99 covers all required study materials. A key component of participants’ eligibility will be their willingness to provide free IEP advocacy services to four families after completing the program. Family-matching services will be provided by Build Inclusion (link to IEP Support Referrals).
